GC entrance or turnstiles

Just curious now without having to use seperate entrances for 4 or 5 day passes. Would you recommend using the Seperate entrance at Grand California or going to turnstiles?

If you are going at rope drop and your goal is to get to CarsLand, I would use the main entrance.

If you're going to use the Grand's entrance, remember to get there much earlier than you would ever expect to need to be. The Grand's entrance allows ALL Disney hotel guests to use it, so you're not just competing with people actually at the Grand. And people get there early.

This is good to know. We will be staying there in June and I know DH and the kids will want to get in line as early as possible to get onto RSR.

If your goal first is RSR, you should use the main entrance and the "wide right" technique. If you use the GC entrance, you will not be one of the first on the ride.

Thanks for the heads up, we will definitely be doing that then . I have a dumb question, and it probably has been talked about here before, what exactly is the "wide right" technique?
