Hi everyone,
I'm travelling with DH, DS (3.5) and my Dsis (not sure how to abbreviate sister) to WDW end of November beginning of December, and I came upon the Gaylords Ice and Snow experience. Can anyone give me some more info about it - What is there to do? How long should we plan to be there if we go? Is it a daytime activity we can do with DS? Will there be enough there for a 3year old to enjoy?

It looks really fun to me, but I want to make sure, and my sister seems to need a little convincing! Lots of specific info would be really appreciated.

Thanks :goodvibes

We have done it a few times. Not the snow (that was new last year) but the Ice part. It is about 9 degrees so pretty cold! They have long jackets you can use. You really need gloves and a hat though. It is pretty and gets bigger each year. They have different themes. There are ice slides. There is a nice gift shop set up with lots of ornaments. It takes about 1/2 hour- 40 minutes to get through. Gaylord Palms is super nice and there are several good restaurants there.

I know they've discussed in on the podcast before. I just looked, it is the Nov 2007 show, so a while back. But lots of good information and if you haven't listened to the podcast before, it is pretty fun.

I Highly recommend this!!!! We go every year and make an evening of it. including dinner and a walk around the resort. there is usually a live show and Christmas music, Santa Claus and the Christmas gift shop. Puts me in the holiday mood every time!!!!!
