Gaylord Palms to Disney parks

Hi- I am going to Orlando for a business convention and won't have a car but would like to visit the Disney parks. Does anyone know how the complimentary transportation is from the Gaylord Palms? I am curious about how frequent it runs, how long it takes or are cabs a better way to go?

We didn't use the transportation at the Gaylord. A cab shouldn't cost too much since you are right outside of the gates to Disney.
