Gaylord Palms Hotel

has anybody ever taken drive over to The Gaylord Palms Hotel who are possibly staying over at Disney stayed there besides me? I thought it was really nice especially during Christmas Time when there's all sorts of activities there to do.

About how far was it from Disney? We're going to be in town in September and are considering going over to the Gaylord Palms for an afternoon.
