Gaylord Palms have you ever stayed?

I just looked at an add for Gaylord palms-WOW it looks like a very nice hotel. I was wondering if any one has stayed and how they liked it? Have you ever worked it into a Disney trip? Maybe stay a few days after visiting Disney? Looks like a nice place to visit I wish it were on Disney property so you could get Disney transportation and dinning. Thanks Nettii

I've stayed there 2 times while at a trade show. Beautiful place with a huge attrium. Service was good and a couple of good restaurants. I agree about it being on property, it would be a nice addition. But I would not leave Disney property to stay there.

We stayed there last year. DH was working a trade show and the kids and I played at the parks. I'd stay there again, no doubt! More upscale than we are used to but very comfy and enjoyable. I wish there were some 'quick service' type restaurants there but otherwise, I loved it!

It's a VERY nice place! I've been there several times for conventions. You will love walking around the different atriums and exploring the place. They even have computers in the rooms. If you go, try the all you can eat buffet at the Italian restaurant.....it's a bit steep for us at about $30 per person, but well worth it.
