I don't understand why people use the excuse they don't want to have to explain why a same sex couple is holding hands to there children. Children have simple open minds and all that needs to be said is they love one another. My daughter at about age 4 asked why women she saw where holding hands. We just said they love each other like mom and dad. I think she said something about the fact that they were both women and we told her it does not matter they love each and sometimes people who love each other like to hold hands. Even if you don't agree with it yourself why breed it into a childs head that its wrong or hide them from it. I want my children to know I will love them not matter which sex they end up with later on in life. Really, I think it's absolutely ridiculous people can not handle a same sex couple holding hands. I am catholic by the way.

Well said. The OP even comes back and suggests the thread is not going in the way he/she intended, and then this gem of a response, which there are numerous other examples of in this thread:

Now why would this guy assume the OP was looking for people to gay bash? Perhaps it is he who was looking for gay bashers by practically implying that the OP was one? Why would you even wonder that? Ridiculous and tiresome is what it is. Apparently one must prepend a disclaimer to each and every post assuring people you aren't a gay basher, that you have no ill will toward any minority, that you are not engaging in domestic violence, that you promise to vote the right way, yadda yadda. It's offensive, frankly, that as soon as you critque the behaviour of any particular group, you are presumed to have some sort of phobia of said group.

You need to go back and read the post again.. the word "IF" was used... it's offensive to even post something like this unless you have read the post... IF....IF... man read the post. There could be alot of things the OP was going for.. you have no idea, I have no idea only the OP knows so please read it before it before you post. I have several reasons for the post and you picked the one that would get everyones goat and ran with it... may you have a little phobia too....

It has run it's course.It has gone from a TPAS post to a debate that could go on and on and on and on. A debate doesn't belong on a WDW trip planning board.
