Although I'm a fan of Kris and happy he won, Adam definitely deserved it when it comes to vocals. As soon as Danny was out, I knew Kris was going to pick up all of his votes to make him Idol. Danny is in Kris's league. Adam fans are already Adam fans. So this was no surprise.

I too am a HUGE Cyndi Lauper fan. I remember buying her first LP.
Loved her performance with Allison! One of my favorite Cyndi songs.

I saw Cyndi in a concert years ago. She opened for one of Cher's fairwell to her fairwell on the last fairwell but one more fairwell, tour. She only did 3 songs, but she's awesome!

ahaha. I used to think I had great Gaydar until an incident this weekend. Just found out (in a not so great way) that an acquaintance of DD9's (camp counsellor - type) that we've known for 2 years is gay -- never saw it, still can't believe I missed that one. Not an issue for us, just baffled that I didn't already know before I found out.

Adam Lambert, OTOH, that was easy.
