Starting a new thread for 2014 Gay Days. I asked the moderator to make it a sticky and remove the one from 2013.

The Gay Days schedule for 2014:
Thu, June 5 - Animal Kingdom
Fri, June 6 - Disney's Hollywood Studios
Sat, June 7 - Magic Kingdom
Sun, June 8 - Epcot

Additional info on parties and other events can be found on the One Mighty Weekend or One Magical Weekend websites. Feel free to post which resort you are staying in and ask questions and if you are looking for friends to join you let us know but keep it Disney appropriate.

We are staying in the Grand Floridian Resort for the first time and we booked the Riptide VIP event at Typhoon Lagoon and the Sunday E-Tea event at Epcot. I love Riptide and if you drink the VIP ticket is the way to go as you have your own bar and drinks are included plus you have a nice area to relax and take a break. I like the Epcot event because your admission is included (after 2pm) and the best part is the reserved VIP private viewing of the IllumiNations Reflections of Earth. Gay Days are my favorite time to visit the parks. I am always impressed by the Community coming together in a healthy fun environment but more so by the Straight Community which (mostly) seems to join the party and fun along with us.

We arrive at WDW on June 8. We are planning on going to Epcot that day. How crowded will it be? Wondering if we need to switch parks. We want to avoid crowds! I know we need to avoid DS that day due to Star Wars Weekends.

Just found out that I have 4 days off in a row over Gay Days Weekend, so I've decided to make the solo trip again. I arrive Friday morning and depart Monday afternoon, staying at Port Orleans Riverside. The only real plans I have right now are dinner at Monsieur Paul on Sunday evening (I love doing a more upscale/Signature meal on my last evening), and doing Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, and EPCOT on their respective days. Looking forward to making new friends.
