Gay Day Crowds?

Ok we are leaving Friday. Wanted any last minute advice on the crowds during and after Gay Day Weekend. I am hoping that there will be no extra crowdedness for the week after.

I'd certainly be more worried about some of the other behavior I've read about (i.e. public urination, physical abuse, etc.) rather than two people showing affection toward each other, regardless of gender.

I've found the gay community (and their children) in the parks to be more respectful of their surroundings than a lot of the heterosexual community (and their children).

It's 2004 ... those people who choose to avoid parks due to potential crowds are understandable. I do the same thing if I can. Those people who avoid the parks simply because it's "Gay Day" and they're worried their children might see something "objectionable" should teach their kids about welcoming diversity and understanding. After all, most of the creative imagineers and cast members of Disney who have created a lot of what we all enjoy so much are, in fact, gay themselves. Where would we all be without their inventiveness? And, what better place is there for everyone to get along and have a great time TOGETHER? No better place than the happiest place!

I am just worried about crowds. My kids are interracial and have gay family members, so its has nothing to do with diversity or lack there of. I would be worried about the same thing if it were southern baptist day, extra crowds.

And yes, i stopped reading that thread about bad behavior, it was making me think i would be there just to check out for bad behavior.

Anyway 3 days and counting.
