Gave up WDW for Lent

Been a while since I have missed WDW during the Lenten season. This year I gave up WDW for Lent. Almost caved in when I found Disney shows on-demand on my cable TV: Seven best at Disney, etc. Hard watching that on TV and not think about being there. I checked airfare but were very high for last minute trip?

This week I have three groups of family and friends down there and making it harder.

Just think of how it must bless God's heart to know you love Him even more than WDW.

On the other hand, my WDW fanatic husband should be thankful that we attend a non-liturgical style church...no lenten sacrifices. He just got two new Disney CD's: Bibbity Bobbity Bach & Heigh Ho Mozart. "Beauty & the Beat" & the Disney Bossa Nova CD's are on their way. It would kill him to have to wait until after Easter to listen to them.

Anybody give up "Beverly" from Club Cool for Lent?

We should all wish you luck for the rest of Lent since you are obviously struggling. If your REALLY gave up WDW, what are you doing posting to the Theme Park Strategies & Attractions list ... or on disboards at all.

You gave up something I couldn't do ...no way!
