Any recomendations for an hotel at Gatwick for our trip next year. So many to choose from. We'll need a family room for 2 adults and 2 children.

Factors to consider may be do you want to be onsite at the terminal or do you need parking inclusive rate?
I find Superbreaks to be quite useful.

We booked our hotel through ABC Holiday Extras, along with an Airport Lounge. The prices are great.

See: www.abcholidayextras.co.uk

A lot of us reccomend The Gatwick Hilton, which has a covered walkway directly in to The Airport (South Terminal). This can be booked at www.hilton.co.uk or ABC Holiday Extras.

HTH

Richard.

Also, ABC Holiday Extras GARUNTEE the best prices, or you get your money back in full.

Gatwick Hilton is just so convenient - just walk through the covered walkway to south Terminal in the morning, saves loads of time queuing. A particularly great factor if you're travelling Virgin and can use the Twilight check-in facility the night before:D

We also booked thru' ABCHolidayExtras.

We leave on 5 December and return from Florida on 19th. On our return, we (family of four) will stay overnight at Holiday Inn Express in Crawley, just three miles or so from the airport. Our car will have been parked at the long stay car park for the duration of our holiday. Total price for hotel (incl breakfast) and car park - £79.

Hi

Gatwick Hilton definately. It was so convenient. Just a walk away.

We stayed off site in a hotel beginning with C I think. I can not remember. It was awful. It looks really old on the outside. If you see a hotel that looks brown stone and old. Please do not go. It had ciggerate burns in the sheets, the nets were brown. staff very rude and generally skanky. We decided to sleep sitting up in the seats. That was hard and uncomfty I tell you. I just wish I could remember the name. However, it was booked through Going Places.

Have a nice trip. Definately Hilton. Worth every penny.

The Le Meridien on the North Terminal is a nicer hotel than the Hilton & is only a short transfer on the shuttle train. We prefer it anyway.

we find Superbreaks to be cheaper than ABC holiday extras

Another vote for Le Meridian. Much nicer than the Hilton.
