Gatwick Hilton - Tesco Points

Hoping for some help as normal, I thought I'd read on here that people had paid for a nights stay at the Gatwick Hilton before flying with their Tesco clubcard points but i've just been on there and it seems to say you can only use the Tesco clubcard points for a 2 night weekend stay.

Apparently for hilton airport hotels there is no minimum stay. If you phone that shouldnt be a problem. I know a lot of others have booked it no problem

Do check the cash rate though - with clubcard vouchers you pay rack rate (full price) which is fine if there are no offers on but it is not the best use of your Clubcard vouchers if you can pay a third of the rack rate in a sale price. I paid for most of our holiday with clubcard vouchers but to book the Hilton was 1/3 of the price is I paid cash as if I paid full rate with clubcard vouchers.

Claire, did you call the booking number given on the Tesco website? I definitely have two bookings for one night in October, booked through them earlier this year, so you definitely can do it., I would try again hun

ETA: I just checked my booking and the rate for a double room is £129.25 bed and breakfast

I wonder if it has changed as Tesco have just revamped their deals? I shall be cross if it has! We booked an executive room in March and free drinks and enough food not to need to buy an evening meal. It was great value.

Claire, try calling 0870 850 4197, which is the number given by Tesco on the Clubcard Deals info page. Tell them you want to book a 1 night stay at the Hilton, Gatwick and that you understand this can be done.

Thanks just tried that and it worked. Cheapest is £134 not sure if that includes any food.

AS long as it quotes the Tesco clubcard rate, it includes the breakfast which is buffet and very good.

The code is PR20TC and you put it in the promotional code box.

The online is good because it also tells you about the VAT they charge on top of the headline figure. We got caught out last time because the phone person didn't tell us that.

the last couple of times we booked an executive room as it was good value for a couple - free drinks, lots of free nibbles at night (enough to make a meal of) and internet access.
