Gatorland on Fire

Gatorland is on fire this morning. Looks like the gift shop is pretty much gone and most of the front of the park. Sad news.....

OMG, that's positively shocking! We're big fans of Gatorland for a quiet day out or a last hurrah before you head to the airport. Thank heaven most of the animals were safe.

Thanks for sharing this, OralndoMike and FLP. We didn't have the television on and hadn't heard about this yet.

Reports comming in now say perhaps two crocks and a few snakes may have died, and of course the signature gator mouth at the entrance is gone. Hope they can recover soon!

Just saw this on FOX News. Hopefully all the animals are ok, and they can recover and be ready for the summer season.

Some good news. The fire is almost out, and the smoke is clearing, and from the shots from the air you can clearly see the the signature gator jaws at the entrance are still there! They interviewed people from Gatorland, and they say they will start rebuilding as soon as possible! GREAT NEWS!
