Where can I get these go add to water bottles? I tried to find then last year too with no luck on my own. I can't believe I didn't think to post it then.
For those of you that have purchased them did you have to order them?

They have them at my grocery store by the bottles of gatorade.

I've seen them in the grocery stores in the bottled water aisle, and also in the juice aisle. Easy to miss....a small plastic bottle that contained individual servings. DD hates drinking plain ol' H20, so I plan on picking some up for our August trip.
If someone has tried them, could you give us a review. Do they taste okay?

I've tried most all of the gatorade/poweade flavors and they are quite good. I would reccomend crystal light's energy packets. I love the grape, strawberry, citrus, and mango peach. They come in a box of 10 and fit into a 16.9oz bottle of water. When you compare them to energy drinks(redbull, amp) they contain the same amount of caffeine and also have a lot of B vitamins. They offer several great non-energy flavors as well.

Thanks so much for the recommendations!! :)

I have found them at Publix where the Gatoraid is ( juice aisle) and crystal light ,kool aid etc where the chips are located . This is where Publix has them. Not sure if all the stores are set up the same but a quick trip to customer service will help you out also.

Are you looking for real , with sugar and electrolytes, Gator Aide or Power Aide with artificial sweeters and I think no electrolytes.

I once saw true Gator Aide packets but not for years. The issue is that they would be much larger than the Crystal Light type packets. I made some up using a seal a meal and for a one liter bottle (half of a normal water bottle) it was about an inch wide and 6" long.

So for everyone else that replied did you see real Gator Aide or Power Aide. That looked like this and would have been in a rather large box.

I did find at Walmart a packet with electrolytes and "energy" with artificial sweeteners that was there store brand. Only found it at one of them I go to not both.

For me if I'm really dehydrated (only really happened once) I need a real sugar Gator Aide or Power Aide to get me back.

I'm also wondering if anyone has seen any of these packets (Gatorade, Koolaid, whatever) that are made with real sugar and not diet drinks. My DH won't drink anything with artificial sweeteners and we really don't wont to feed it to our kids but we're trying to keep costs down and hide the flavor of florida water when we down there next week. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheapest thing to do is to take a ziplock bag with Gator Aide from the canisters and use the measure provided. The only issue is that you kind of need some sort of funnel like device.

Otherwise you may have to get them online or you may be lucky to find them at the supermarket. You may even find them at a sporting goods store like Dick's but once you see the price you may want to go the zip lock route. Also make sure how much it makes. I think I have seen them that only make 8 oz of drink.

Just hope it gets past security. :goodvibes

Besides the Gator Aide ones I made up blue power aide and country time lemon aide for my sons and real sugar iced tea for my wife. It was a real pain making them and we never used them because even though it was the end of August it was TS Fay week so overcast and not that hot.

You may want to look at my PP and just carry baggies of what ever your family likes.

As for the taste of the water, we got the new Brita filter bottles for our last trip and they worked great. Of course you can't use mix ins since the filter would get clogged up. :thumbsup2

Rubber maid also just came out with one that looks good too. I personally don't like the Bobble ones since they have a weird shape.

I found them at Walmart for our August trip. The real Gatorade, not the G2. It wasn't expensive, 8 sticks to a rounds tub (easy to miss if you are looking for a box, as opposed to a cylinder.) The only issue is that you need to take a good sip from a 16oz water before dumping in the packet. Because it's real sugar, the packet of powder has more volume than say, a Crystal light packet.

Worked well for us. No problems getting through security either.

Target carries regular G and G2 powder packets in a cylindrical container. It is located with the regular bottled Gatorade.

I've also see Hawaiian Punch and Kool-Aid single serve packets in with the other drink mixes at the grocery store (not sugar free).
