Gateway Notebooks

OK so we go to the Home Show yesterday to price out sheds for the backyard. While we're there DH finds a booth that has all kinds of notebooks and starts fooling around with them. He looks and plays for awhile. Its pretty clear from the get that the booth is fly-by-night and we don't even consider buying anything from them.

BUT this morning he still has it stuck in his head about getting a notebook. So, since we have a Gateway desktop we'd like to have a have Gateway Notebook too. Have had good luck with this brand. But finding them is a trick.

So for those of you who have them...where did you buy it?

We've stopped in at Bestbuy which had 2 but that's about it. Bought our last Gateway from Circuit City RIP. So help me out here with places to look. Stopped in at OfficeMax as well and they didn't have squat. So need new places.

As for me, I found Tervis Tumblers and bought a set. They swear I can't break them which is why I bought them And the made in USA is a plus as well.

My son has had a Gateway for a little over a year now. My sister bought it for him for 2009 Christmas from HSN. He LOVES it. I had to use it once when we were moving offices and our IT guy gave it a BIG thumbs up. It's in awesome condtion, is fast and powerful and we've never had a problem with it.

I have a Gateway I bought about two years ago. I really like it. I bought it at Best Buy.

The Gateway website will show where they are available locally (up to a 120 mile radius) or online. For example, the low end notebook is available at Radio Shack in my area (and lots of online retailers) and the high end notebook is not available locally, but is available at Frys.com
