Gate Checking ???

Not Disney related but we might be flying to Houston in a few weeks. We will need DD car seat for the rental car, but don't necessarily want it for the plane ride. We will also have our stroller as well. My question is will they let us gate check both the car seat and the stroller? We can't take the chance of it getting "lost". It will be myself, dh and DD3 so we will have 3 paid seats.

They should let you gate check both.

I'd check the airlines policies - some say they count gate checked items towards your carry-on limit, but they've never done that when I've flow with the kids.

They should let you gate check both. If you are going to have the car seat - you might as well use it. I found them easy to install - and helped my kids feel like flying was "routine".
