Ok, so I don't need park tickets because we are doing AP's, bought the vouchers for the $30 off deal!! WooHOO!!! :) But, I always hear about the dining vouchers you get and how it's such a good deal. Well, I went to GAT's website but couldn't find the vouchers...can someone help me with that? Also, where would I be able to look at the DL Dining vouchers? I know they aren't a great deal but since we are planning (ok, I am planning) 4 trips total this year they might work out for us, prepaid meals and all that stuff. :)

From the main GAT page, go to tickets, then DL resort. There is a drop down box that says attraction, click it and dining is right underneath it.

HTH. :)

Do a lot of people use these dining vouchers? How do they work? I thought I read in another spot that the GAT dining vouchers include tax + gratuity?

Thank You!!! I could swear I looked there and didn't see it....I will look again from home. :)

They do include tax and gratuity, but I believe the prices charged at the restaurant's front podium also include tax and gratuity? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, or if that only applies to some meals. I seem to remember that was the case with our Minnie and Friends breakfast at the plaza-- tip was included.

GAT is usually about $5.00 off the DL price for meals. Sometimes it's more than that when the prices are jacked up for the summer-- Goofy's Kitchen costs quite a bit more during high season, and I think GAT still charges the same regular price online during that time.

That said, GAT charges a processing fee of $12.95 (I think, something like that) now. You used to be able to quote a discount code such as "podcast" or the current one is "castle"... and get the processing fee waived... but I think that only applies now if you are booking a package with a hotel through them. Again, if anybody has managed to use the discount code for JUST ticket or dining vouchers alone, please let us know... that would be a good tip to know.

Thanks Gail! (Also for the maps :) ) After our recent WDW vacation it is a real shift to plan the DL one because it is totally new. Between the maps, this board and a guidebook - I'm just getting started. I did start my spreadsheet yesterday and appreciated reading about how you and others plan their days.
