GAT ticket/voucher quickie question

I thought I read somewhere on here that GAT mails out the tickets and vouchers 3 weeks before your scheduled trip. I am just wondering if that is indeed accurate? I'm 4 weeks out, and couldn't remember 100% when they said I'd get them. Thanks all!!

We bought 8-day hoppers back in July and received our lanyards, pins, and confirmation within 2 weeks if I recall. No tickets or vouchers. You just go to the ticket booth and present your ID. They will have you in their system and will generate the tickets for you at that time. It was really easy.

I also received my package around 2 weeks after booking. I received my lanyards, pins, photo book and confirmation for hotel. There was no voucher for tixs, just stated to p/u at ticket booth (BRING ID).
Call GAT if you are worried.

All I recieved from them after booking online was a one page letter, that looked like a receipt basically. That was about 1 1/2-2 weeks after booking. Now I am worried, I guess I'll check my email when I get home and call them. Thanks all!
PS- The voucher I'm referring to is the character meal voucher. I bought 3 park hoppers and 3 character meal vouchers. I thought I would at least get something in the mail other than the reciept since everyone talked about getting lanyards and such?

Did you book a hotel too? The only letter I got (with the goodies) was confirmation for hotel. I'm guessing if we didn't book a hotel, we wouldn't have received that letter. Also, the goodies might not be available with tickets only. Does that make sense?

For those interested or wanting to know also...
I called GAT and a very helpful, Crystal informed me that the page I recieved via mail was just a confirmation. She said I should recieve my tickets, and lanyards and pins in the next 2 weeks. Very cool!

Huh... I thought you picked up tickets at the ticket booth with your i.d....? I read somewhere here that somebody who just had park tickets, like us, still got a package with lanyards and stuff, 2 weeks before... but picked up their tickets at the ticket booth. Maybe it's changed. That would be great if they send your tickets out ahead of time! Well, we're 3 weeks out, so maybe next week I'll find out, too!

When I called GAT, they told me my tickets AND vouchers will be printed at the ticket window. They only mail the lanyard, pins etc... Hew reasoning was that the vouchers could get lost plus someone would have to pay for shipping/insurance

All I have to go on is what she told me. So, in her words "yes, your tickets will be mailed out to you soon. We also send lanyards and pins with the package." That's all I know. However, when I recieve the package I will post again to confirm for everyone!

i just ordered 2 three day hopper and received a "receipt", 2 lanyards, and 2 pins in the mail Saturday. there weren't any actual tickets. those you get at disney. our trip isnt until the beginning of december.

Again, this is nothing like what she told me and that is what I was reporting back. I find it odd that everyone has recieved all their stuff already after ordering just days ago and here I am almost a month after ordering and have recieved just that confirmation paper from them. Now I'm concerned the woman I spoke to is new or isn't privvy on how things work. Everyone on here is saying something that is not like what she told me. Maybe I'll wait another week and if nothing comes call again to confirm lol.

i think the lady you spoke to didnt know everything it has been where you pick up the tickets and meal voutchers at the ticket booth for a while. but idk
pins and such should arive in mail i belive

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE-
Ok because I was dying to know I called GAT again...I spoke with Alyssa who said that all you DISers were right and the other person who actually works for them is wrong LOL. Only if you book a hotel do you get pins and lanyards and something else in the mail. Disney tickets and meal vouchers are all done like etickets as mentioned above. I hope that clears things up haha. Thanks again all.
