GAT meal vouchers

I'm looking into buying meal vouchers from GAT for Ariel's Grotto. They're $38 per adult and $20 per child. I think they include tax and tip? Has anybody bought this vouchers from GAT? Did you find them worth it? Did you have to pay extra or do they covered the entire meal? I was told that you don't get an actual voucher, rather you just pick them up with a picture id? Does this sound right? The website has not enough information.

We did this last summer. They did include tax and tip. No they don't send the actual voucher--you do have to pick them up somewhere when you arrive. We stayed at the DLH so all of our stuff (vouchers, park tickets etc) was ready for us there when we checked in. You can call and ask them---I found them very helpful and friendly on the phone.

We've used GAT vouchers and vouchers from ARES ~ http://arestravel.com/77_DisneylandResort.html *click Character Experiences You can also get voucher from some AAA offices ~ they definitely save $$ at Goofy's & Ariel's ~ there are other discounts *cannot be combined* AP holders and AAA members.

We're staying off-site. I guess we would pick them up at guest relations at DCA? So, do you get a receipt by e-mail and that's what you bring with a photo id?

I was going to by from Ares. It seemed to me that they had more information on their website. But I couldn't pay the tickets because they don't accept international credit cards. I'm going to try with GAT. There are many websites that do allow international credit cards, but some don't. I won't find out till I place the order with GAT. But, before doing this, I wanted to make sure what I was getting and how, since international delivery is not an option for me.

I just purchased ours from GAT at those prices and was told to pick up the vouchers at the ticket booths outside DCA/DL and show the receipt and photo ID. Price does include tax and tip.

We're going on the 27th and Disney Dining quoted me $32.99/adult and $18.99/child, not including tax (8.75%) and tip (15%), so it does end up being cheaper by a few $$$.

We did goofy's with GAT and we turned in the vouchers(email confirmation) at the DLR ticket booths and received a lil ticket like a park hopper to take to goofys the next morning was easy and painless and yes it includes tax & tip

I have used them several times through GAT. All they send is an invoice (which you do not need to show but I always bring mine JIC). You take your photo id (must be the same name as the order was under) to the DL ticket booth and they give you a voucher to turn in at the restaurant. The vouchers do include tax and tip and save you several dollars.

I'm only taking DD5 with me. So if I buy 1 adult and 1 child, it's going to be $58 vs $64 at the restaurant? Or am I doing this wrong?

$64 at the restaurant PLUS tax and tip...... so you are saving a good chunk of change by using GAT as its $58 and thats it.....

Thanks for this great deal!! Of note, I called GAT and ARES and was told that GAT includes tip and tax but ARES said they did NOT include tip. TIFWIW

Not sure. Another posts says that Disney charges $32.99 adult and $18.99 child, plus tax (8.75%) and tip (15%). I figure this comes to $64 with tax and tip. The GAT voucher would cost $58. Is this right?

We have done it both ways paid at restaurant and bought ahead of time not sure but for 2 kids and 2 adults with tax and tip at location was very close to $150.00 whereas with GAT total was around $100 granted this was 2 years ago but I dont think prices have changed much and another thing to take into consideration is there are different price points depending on the season, when buying ahead of time it's paid for and no surprises when you reach your destination.
