Gas went up, must be road trip time

Seems like every time we are taking a road trip gas prices go up. Filled up gas on Monday at 2.91 and today I drive by the station and it is 2.95. Of course we leave on Friday to drive to Cincinatti. Every single time we travel, gas goes up...........do you think the gas gods are trying to tell me something?

I know what you mean! It's sad when I got excited that I saw 2.91 and filled up since the average around here is about 2.99.

Boy I WISH we had gas here still in the 2's...have not seen that around here since Katrina!!

I filled up on Monday evening for $2.89. This morning (Wednesday) it is $2.94. The station across the street jumped from $2.89 to $3.09.

See, it's all my fault. It really does climb every single time I am doing a road trip. The last time gas got real high was over Easter and we had a road trip to Chicago. Gas prces came down after that. Now we are driving to Cincinatti on Friday and here they go again.

Now I understand the high gas prices and stuff, but if you have a 16 gallon tank and gas goes up 10 cents then that's another, what $1.60?

Obviously the rise from $1.50 to over $3.00 is crazy.
