I buried these links in another thread, but I found them very interesting and thought I would start a new thread with them.

Questions come up about where to refuel your rental car on the way to the airport. Some folks fill up at the Hess stations on WDW property, most still get to the airport with a full tank, but some have been tagged for a little gas.

There are stations close to MCO that will work, see the links.

This link is an interactive map that allows you to click on the icon and then it tells you the name of the station, address, etc.....

This link is that same map, but it is a printable version listing all of the gas stations with addresses and phone numbers... I printed this page and I keep it in my trip binder.

Disney to Airport, gas station on your way, not out of your way.

Leaving WDW watch first green signs carefully, get onto I-4 East (northeast), then take 528 (Beach Line fka Bee Line). Get off 528 at its Exit 9 Tradeport, left at light, get into left lane, cross under, and reasonably cheap gas station is right there. Don't forget to get a receipt.

Left or U at light depending on how you exited gas station,(do not cross back under, do not take cloverleaf) get into middle lane, one block, then right onto McCoy Rd. takes you 1-1/2 miles to airport north entrance (Semoran Blvd.).

What if we take the 417 back to the airport? Where is the best
place then?

The Circle K on Boggy Creek would be the best if you are taking 417. You might want to do a search since it has been discussed lately.

Thanks safetymom! I did see the other thread, I just was not sure if that was off the 417 or not, if it is that is where we will stop! Thanks again!

The maps in my OP show clearly where the Circle K is. Very easy.

Saw the circle K but I did not see where 417 was marked. Looks like is right by the south entrance to the airport from 417. Now I think i read that we get off at the Boggy Creek exit and go right instead of left to the Circle K is that right?

when you get to the exit to go to the airport, you simply go right (south) to the Circle K. The airport would have been a left (north). Once you leave the Circle K, just go north.

If you look at the map, 417 is the one running left to right directly above the Circle K.

Thank you so much dudspizza! Cheers with a Mt Dew to you!:drinking: Ok, I see it now (duh!) It is more clearly marked on one map. That looks like the perfect place! Does anyone know if National requires a fuel receipt? Thanks

On the way to the Circle K, you will pass houses on your left and a church and cow pastures on your right. It looks pretty boofoo, but if you see that, you're going the right way. Then you'll come to a stop light, and there is the Circle K. It can be trafficky during weekday rush hour, so allow a bit of extra time. When you are returning to the airport, you're going to have to veer onto a ramp on your left.

National does not require a fuel reciept. I always fuel up before leaving Disney property and have never been below full when I got to the airport.

We did not need a fuel receipt yesterday with Dollar. We filled up the night before at one of the Hess stations at WDW. The price was the same as the least expensive we saw off property (& we were off property more than on property this trip).
