Gas prices

We noticed that too. In less than a week ....days here in MD. My husband wondered if it was because of the embassy bombing over in Turkey.

Have your states instituted new gasoline taxes? Often that is the reason.

My husband and I were wondering about that yesterday. The bombing only happened yesterday (our time) and the gas prices started rising before that.

Up high and quickly here, too. Supposedly due to oil refinery shut down to start making the summer gas blend and the speculators. I really wish they would stop oil speculation :/

Ours is up to 3.999  from a low of 3.69 a few weeks ago. It was 3.81 early last week.

Well if it makes you feel better, up here in southern Ontario we're paying $1.28 per litre. So at a conversion of 3.78 between the litre and the gallon, that works out to about $4.83 per gallon up here.

Yep I was just about to post this.:sad2:
My husband commutes roughly 2.5 hours a day. Once you add in the running around we do in the evenings and on the weekends we're spending about 150 a week in a midsize car:sad2:

Seems like it takes 2 days for it to go up $1 a gallon and 4 months for it to come back down.

We are at $3.55 right now.

And it never seems to go back to where it was before it magically increased

Ours is up 45¢ over the last week or so. :( Just in time for our first driving trip to WDW...

It was 3.05 here then the next day it was 3.30 and then two days later it was 3.80. Sams had it for 3.30 and now most places are 3.60. It always goes up with the news comments on how cheap gas is.

I can't stand speculators.

They look for any excuse to raise prices (it snowed in the south, we must raise the gas price) because, just like with Disney Tickets, they know you will pay it. You may complain about it, but in the end you will pay it.
