Gas prices in Florida?

Hey, I was curious if anyone who lives in Florida can tell me what gas prices are like there now? We're driving down for our cruise soon, and need to know what to expect for the budget.. Thanks!!

About $1.75 to $1.79 a gallon right now.

Check MurphyUSA.com (the Walmart Gas retail outlets). It has a trip planner to put in origin and destination, and will locate their gas stations within 5 miles of the route (you can put in 0.5, 1 mile, increments etc). It shows the current price for regular unleaded and diesel at each station located.

Murphy USA tends to be the cheaper gas, and with a Walmart gift card used for gas purchase gets you $0.03 off more per gallon !

WHAT ,how cheap is that, in the UK we pay $3.18 a litre which is over $12 a gallon !!!!!!!!!!

And we think our gas is outrageously priced. How do you do it? I would be walking everywhere. I have friends from the UK who now live here in the states, when any of their friends visit they stock up on clothes, especially jeans. We never think of our clothes being cheap to purchase, until we hear what you pay for them. The only thing my friend complains about is the tea here, it just isn't strong enough for her. She has her family send it to her and I have to admit it is good.

I know , if i wasn't so lazy i'd walk but we're used to it and we just figure on it taking a chunk of our salary, believe me if i could find a way to move to the states i would but it's near on impossible to get a visa, yes clothes prices there are much much cheaper too as are house prices in most areas , eating out etc. but hey we've got good stuff too , free medical treatment, no hurricanes, tornadoes or earthquakes and fantastic tea LOL
and i get to visit the states on holiday so i consider myself lucky

There are pros and cons everywhere I guess. She did build a beautiful home here which she thought was very cheap. I didn't, but compared to what it would have cost her back home she was very happy. But she is freaking about paying for a college education here for her three sons. If I remember correctly, I think she said you get your education free, which is a huge plus.

They are still working on their visas and they have been here now for 6 years.

last year when we went on our 3 day cruise we stoped at walmart in titusville and walmart's gas was 10-15 cents a gallon cheaper then the price at the gas stations by the freeway

Gas here (two hours south of Port Canaveral) is $1.79 - $1.86 for regular unleaded.

Hey there,
Gasoline here in Cape Canaveral is $1.99.9 for premium and $1.84.9 for middle grade - local paper this morning said it was going up to over $2.00 a gal. with a short time. In key West, I know that it is close to $2.50 a gallon but then you have no choices.
Good luck BTW also check with Triple A - they know just about everything to do with traveling.
