Gas Discount Cards

DH has been pestering me to post this for a week.

Do you use any gas discount programs? Are there any you recommend?

We looked into Flying J's, but you have to spend something like $200 a month in their stores and restaurants before you start getting a discount on gas. We don't plan on eating there, or buying anything there. But we do love their stations!

I personally think you are better off with a credit card that gives you a rebate on gas purchases. We have several that give us a 3-4% rebate on gas/fuel so that is around 6-8 cents a gallon. It comes on your anniversary date but the results do add up.

We've got one. We are paying for our seven night stay at the Fort with our Disney Reward Dollars. Love it!

We just got ours in the mail today. We usually just shred the pre-approved offers, but they were offering a $200 disney gift card with the first purchase. That, along with the discount you can get when you use the card at Disney made it an offer that I couldn't refuse. Plus it has Mickey on it!
