Help! Some little creature is trying to dig up my newly planted plants...both in the ground and in containers. I don't think it's squirrels as it only happens at night. We live in a wooded area so I am guessing racoons. Any suggestions on how to stop this?! :confused3

You may have grubs in your ground, and it is attracting moles and/or voles. Put a grub control down, and that may help.

As I said, whatever it is, they are getting into ABOVE ground flower pots, too. My largest is about 24 inches high, so I doubt it's a mole...

Thanks for the suggestion though...

RACOON! They made a mess in my garden :furious:

My solution was animal control.

Yep! It is a racoon. He was nice enough to leave footprints last night. My husband tried some of his own animal control, but didn't get him. Not sure what to do next. Someone suggested moth balls...what do you think?

Is the raccoon wool?

I knew it!

Those guys are cute, but the can make a huge mess. The got into my garage, ate the cat food and dog food too, ate my plants :sad2:

It's late, so it took me a while to figure out the wool question; I finally got it though :rotfl2:

every one knows racoons are not wool.. they are fur, and felt..lol..

good luck getting rid of them, once they find something they like, they tend to stick around.
