it is LOADED with buds but the leaves are turning yellow. It may be in too much sun, but it's too big to move.

Tulirose I didn't realize you had replied to my latest rant. Yes Illinois and/or New Hampshire are still home.

If you, or anybody else, is down here I would love to have you visit. Have I told you about the watermelon margaritas? Any time.

It might be the sun. I hope it survives.

Doesn't yellow usually mean too much water?

But can you HAVE too much water in Florida?

I somehow doubt it....

Marlasmom, I found the following info regarding yellowing leaves. Hopefully it helps you out. :)

~Yellowing leaves - starting with the lowest ones, is often a signal of too little nitrogen in the soil. Bloodmeal and cottonseed meal are good slow release sources of nitrogen.~

Gardenias ~ You need Acrobat Reader for this one.

:)

Really Gina? Does it look weird to you? It looks okay to me, but I'm wearing my beginner reading glasses...lol..:)

FINALLY got the Gardenia site to load. I'm going out now to dump the coffee grounds under the bush. Seems that yellowing leaves can be caused by not enough acid.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Well, I was gonna say if it is the sun then you should get an umbrella to put over it!

No, I was being serious, not joking here.

However, I hope the coffeegrounds do the trick instead!
