GardenGrocer Delivery Times

We are using GardenGrocer for the first time this trip. We scheduled our delivery time for 7-9 PM on our arrival day. For those of you that have used them, can you tell me if they usually come in the earlier part of the delivery time? My sister has to go back to the villa for the delivery, and I'm really hoping she can make it back to meet us at our seats in the Fantasmic! Theater by 9. I read that they are always on time, which is great, so now I'm just hoping they are also at the early part of the delivery period. It'll be a Sunday night, so maybe they'll have fewer deliveries and will be able to get there in the earlier part of the window....?

Also, we included a tip in the order, so is that paid to them BEFORE they get there (we paid with CC) or will we tip them upon delivery?

I was at Epcot when the groceries were delivered. Bell services held everything and when I returned to my room, they were brought up.

We've never been in our room when groceries were delivered. I pay in advance, with a nice tip, and then call bell services after the delivery time. The delivery person will also leave a message after delivery. I missed it the first trip because I left my home number rather than my cell.

Bell services holds the items until you call for them, and they can keep cold stuff cold until you have them brought to your room. Of course, you should tip bell services for that part of the transaction.

Anyway - if you tip in advance, there is no reason to tip upon delivery unless you feel the service you receive exceeded the tip you gave. I love gardengrocer.com and use them gladly each trip.

We just used Garden Grocer for the first time on Sunday. We paid in advance, including a tip. Our CC was charged at the time I placed the order (several weeks ago). I requested delivery between 1pm and 3pm. They delivered our order at 3:25pm, and left a message on DH's cell phone. They left everything with Bell Services (since we had prepaid) so we had them bring the order up when we were in the room (and tipped of course).

Very easy! We'll definitely use them again.
