Garden walk

It is called "hyperbole", :) exaggeration to make a point. PF Chang's food does have very high sodium compared to the normal, Chinese counterpart.

:confused3 really, thanks for your "clarification". Not necessary at all but....I disagree with your statement, there are local Chinese places that make my bp spike much more than dining at PF Chang's does. It's OK for you to disagree, it's called a personal opinion, it's fine if yours is different.

Fire and Ice is a really good place in Garden Walk. They make the food in front of you and they have a good brunch on sat and sun for roughly 13.00 all u can eat. Omlets, pancakes, pasta, pizza, philly chese and so much more. You come up with the ingrediants and they will make it for u. They also have all u can eat lunch and dinner every day. I think luch is around 9.00 and dinners around 16.00 all u can eat.

So, is it possible to get decent mexican within walking distance to the DL Hotel?

Then I would politely suggest :rolleyes1 you are eating at the wrong Chinese places particularly if you live in LA or Orange County.

I tend to avoid most Chinese places because of the way my body reacts. I do eat it sometimes but I prefer to eat Thai over Chinese. We usually do Chinese when someone else (outside our family of 4) wants it. I'm no where near LA or OC, I live in Northern California.

So I am assuming that GardenWalk sits on what was that dusty piece of land that was going unused for so long on Katella (and I often wondered why it was sitting there). I am glad there is some additional alternatives there, but I'm kind of sad to hear that the eateries are basically just the overpriced national chains that I already have in my backyard. How is the retail there...or is it just a regular mall selection?
THANKS

On our last trip, we stayed at the Candy Cane Inn, which is about halfway between the Disneyland entrance and Gardenwalk...one of the reasons we like to stay there. We did the happy hour at PF Changs twice on our week-long stay. It was cheap, the drinks were good, and the appetizers were yummy...esp. the lettuce wraps...enjoyable alternative to the expense of the Disney restaurants, but definitely not as good as all the local places mentioned above, but most chain restaurants aren't. We do enjoy the Gardenwalk alternative, however, as it's all within walking distance...and we usually don't have a car.

Pretty basic outdoor mall selection IMO. There's a movie theater, candy store, clothes stores, the Shell Vacation Club member center and places to eat. I don't go there to shop, I go there to eat or watch a movie. :)

The lettuce wraps are sooooooooooooooo good......I always order them. They are my favorite dish there.
