Hi all,

I have a question for you on the Garden View Tea Room. My youngest son wants to have tea there with me and I would like to know if they frown on a child nibbling from the plate? I was thinking of getting the Buckingham Palace, and I know my son isn't interested in the food there, just having British Tea. (I think this is yet another fine example of "Fun with Autism!")

Also, do they still give a 20% discount if you have TIW?

Thanks!
Karen

I know they offer a la carte items, they "may" recommend that you order him something small. Have you looked at the Mrs. Pott's Children's Tea menu?

I would order one item for him, even if it's just a scone. Then I wouldn't care if my son ate off my plate, at least I paid for something for him. Know what I mean?

Perfect! That should work out nicely! I feel the same way, and forgot about the a la carte items. He won't go for the Mrs. Potts, but maybe he'll try an a la carte cheese plate. He's definitely going to have a cup of tea! :goodvibes
