1) This fills quickly, so definitely get an ADR.
2) Dress is just a notch above casual.
. . . some come ion "park dress"
. . . most dress in pressed shorts, nice shirts, etc
. . . some actually dress for it (dresses, nice slacks, etc)
You will have a wonderful time... I have enjoyed afternoon tea on several occassions... it was worth it every time.... a nice quiet afternoon.... my DD loves it also...
I would definitely make an ADR, it is very popular. We love going to the tea room! It is such a lovely experience, and the tea and offerings are wonderful! I usually order the Grand Tea, and it is worth every penny. I cannot wait to go back in March. By the way, I believe there is not a dress code. We do prefer to be dressed nicely, but again, no dress code like the signatures. However, keep in mind the atmosphere is very quaint.
I am thinking of doing this on a day that we have a lunch ADR at 12:15 p.m. at Sci-Fi and a dinner ADR at 6:30 p.m at 'Ohana. We should be ready to leave HS right after lunch. We will be going back to BLT for the afternoon. I was thinking that tea around 4:00 would give us some time to relax at the hotel and also give us enough time to get to our 6:30 ressie at the Poly. Does that sound OK?
One more thing...I know that fitting this in between the two ADRs may potentially mean a lot of food in a short period of time. I was thinking that we might just do pastries with our tea...just a light afternoon snack.
