We are excited about all the concerts that will be going on this year for the Flower Garden Festival.
My questions are these:
Is the dining packages needed to get a seat, is the seating better than that of standby?
If you do dining package what time do you get into the seating/how late do they hold you a seat?
If we don't do a dining package how early do you line up for a seat?
I'd do a dining package if it would save significant time

Thanks for the help

Really depends on the popularity of the band. You dont need a dining package to get a seat. Ive gotten seats 10 minutes before the show for some acts, others you couldnt get a seat and it was standing room only. If you really want to see a band your best bet is to get the reserved seating which is better than standby for the most part. No clue when they start letting people in. Never been that interested in getting a close spot, except for a few acts, we usually sit on the fountain wall in the pavilion and listen.

We have never done a package to get a seat. Some of the popular bands will be crowded. Most of the time, we have been able to walk in shortly before they start and get a seat.
We also go to the first show, seems easier to get a seat.

It is an open air theater. Even if you do not sit down on one of the benches, you can still stand in the back and see and hear them. People come and go throughout the sets. The performers do about 3-4 songs per set and about 3 sets per evening. It is very casual. Unless you want to see the sweat dripping off of their face, any seat will do. LOL

For those saying that it depends on the band/artist, what do you think about Herman's Hermits?
Thank you!

We saw them two years ago, when they just had weekend concerts and while they had a full crowd we were able to walk in about 20 mins before show time and found a very nice place to sit.
