thanks for the suggestions everyone! We went with boardwalk villas. this will be our first trip as DVC members and we are so excited! our reservations say garden/pool. does anyone have any pics of that view? thanks so much!

See this map created by Granny. You would be in the areas marked in red. The small red area on the boardwalk side are only studios (known as the Village Green). So your choice would be facing the Swan (end on left), Main Pool, Quiet Pool or Village Green.

i have a question about the rooms- i am seeing "dedicated" and "lockoffs". forgive my ignorance, but this is all new..what is the difference between the two?

A lockoff has a door that connects a studio to a 1 bedroom. If you reserved a 2 bedroom, that door would be opened and the studio would be the second bedroom. If you only reserved a studio or 1 bedroom that door would be locked. A dedicated studio or 1 bedroom at BWV would not have the connecting door. Dedicated studios at BWV have a small daybed, lockoffs do not. BWV does not have dedicated 2 bedrooms as the others do, only lockoffs.
