GARden grove ????s DVC/upcharge/dinner

We have done Garden Grove @Swan & enjoyed the b'fast. I know they do the DVC discount @ b'fast (20%). Do they do the 20% on Character b'fast? Do they do ADR's? We walked up & had a 20 min. wait one trip.

Also, I was looking at the dinners. Has anyone done the BBQ ? It looked pretty good but a little pricey....do they take the DVC discount for this meal?

Staying @ BWV in a few weeks & thought we might give it a try again. We won't have DDP (I don't think they are on DDP anyway, are they?). Thought it might be a less crowded choice & we may not go to the park EVERY day (esp. Memorial Day Sat./Sun.).

Here is what I can help with:

Yes, the 20% discount is good for character breakfast. Did it last Fall.

Correct, Swan/Dolphin restaurants are not on DDP.

Yes, you can make ADR's through WDW dining, and I believe you can call the hotel directly as well. As you have done, you can usually walk up and have a reasonably short wait.

Thanks. I may just call & ask about the DVC discount @ dinner. Maybe will just try a walkup for b'fast & see if it worked as well as last time..
