We arrive at the Polynesian exactly one month today! Ya hoo!! So exicted! I will be traveling with my husband and two 16 year old boys and meeting up with my 20 year old daughter who is coming to the end of her 3 month International College program. My daughter has been working at the Poly which is why we are splurging on this resort. To save some $$ I thought we would eat breakfast in the room. I was thinking I would order from the Garden Grocer but looked on site and their prices are quite expensive. In your opinion... would we be better getting an Uber/Taxi to buy food for the room or having items delivered? I will be bringing an extra suitcase for my daughter to bring home all she has acquired during her 3 month stay. I thought I would fill it with cereal, bagels, snacks etc. I would use Garden Grocer for fruit, milk, juice, cheese, water, fresh fruit, beer and wine. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! With the huge disparity between the Canadian and US dollar I am working hard to save where I can.
thanks in advance...

Uber/Lyft is an option if you want to spend vacation time grocery shopping in an unfamiliar store. You may want to explore one of the Amazon services or Instacart (they shop Publix in the Disney area). There are offers out there for free delivery on first time orders.

I've used the garden grocer and I feel that the extra cost is worth it to me. They deliver the items right to the hotel and bell services will hold it until you arrive. It's very convenient.

We used garden grocer when we took my mom last November. My mom is a little older and needed some creature comforts to help her settle in and the Garden Grocer was perfect. They delivered everything to our rooms and they were waiting for us when we arrived. Its a little pricey and there is a minimum purchase.

Walmart Grocery delivers as does Publix via instacart and Amazon Prime Now also delivers. All of these are far cheaper than Garden Grocer.

I second Amazon Prime Now. I had always used GG but when checking out the prices for our last trip back in Oct I noticed they had gone way up on almost everything. We used Amazon Prime Now and saved a ton of money and didn't have a delivery charge like GG would have imposed as our order would not have qualified for the free delivery.
