Not sure if this is the right forum.. please bump if it's not.

We've never used the Garden Grocer but I'm considering doing so for our upcoming trip to deliver bottled water, a bit of produce to snack on and wine. Is it permitted to have wine/beer delivered to a WDW hotel? I assumed this was always OK, however on a recent trip to Vegas, I saw a notice in our hotel noted that you were not permitted to bring your own alcohol, and it got me thinking if this is the case elsewhere. TIA!

Yes Garden Grocer will deliver beer and wine. I don't know about hard liquor. They ask you fax a copy of your Id
Enjoy

We've had Garden Grocer deliver wine on our last 3 trips, no problem! :thumbsup2

Because we drive, we always bring our own wine. We've never been in a hotel anywhere that ever kept us from bringing our own wine, not that I doubt your experience. Just hope it doesn't become a widespread rule.

We have also bought wine at several of the gift shops at various Disney resorts and we didn't even think the prices were that bad.

Thanks everyone!

I wondered if that was unique to Vegas because they presumably make so much of their revenue on alcohol and want to keep it "in house". We didn't test the rules there, but I'm glad to hear we won't have to worry about it in Disney.

I have always brought alcohol into Vegas rooms and to WDW. Not sure how Vegas hotels would enforce that rule... We once had the Bell Desk help us load 6 12 packs of beer and a cooler, and bring it to our room with our luggage. :)

I know really. No one has ever inspected my luggage or any other bags at check in. Either in Vegas or WDW.

Plus they sell beer, wine and liquor at Epcot as well as resort gift shops.

I know there are cruise ships that differentiate between bringing alcohol on board vs. purchasing on ship, but I've never heard of a land-based hotel doing that. Anywhere.
