I tried searching for this but search didn't work. Will Garden Grocer deliver before I arrive at my resort? We will not be getting in until late in the evening. We will only be there 4 days so I do not want to spend my first morning waiting for groceries to be delivered. I definitely want the delivery b/c I am ordering baby supplies that I do not want to carry while flying with 3 children. TIA!

Yes, they will deliver before you arrive. They are a great service!

We used them last month and they got to the resort before we did. They left the groceries with Bell Services. Once we got into our room we called down and they were brought up within 15 minutes. They're a great service -- highly recommended!

What is garden grocer? I'm assuming by the name you can buy food and have it sent to your hotel room for your arrival. Do you have a link you can post? :surfweb:

Here's a link: www.GardenGrocer.com. And another question: will they deliver before you get there even if there are parishables (like milk) in the order? We arrive late too, and I hope to have it waiting.

while I was waiting for a response here I emailed them. They said no problem to deliver before we get there. They also said that the resort (BCV) has the ability to store refrigerated/perishable items. It may vary by resort so I would ask them. They replied to my email within a couple hours.
Thanks for all of the replies!

Thanks for posting and replying to these questions. I was wondering the same thing!! That makes me feel better about having food delivered.

Does anyone know how far in advance they will deliver? Like if I order food the night before we leave (there website says that I can order up to 24 hours in advance), they aren't going to deliver it that night will they?? Cause we won't get there until around 2:30pm or so....

When we used them back in Sept, I placed our order about 3 weeks in advance. I was still able to add items up to the day before we arrived via email. I was reading about their delivery time slots filling up and didn't want the hassle of shopping for diapers, milk, soda, etc on vacation. If you're going during a peak travel time, book your delivery time earlier than later.

we used them in sept. and ask them to deliver to the hotel pop century before we arrived and it was there for us to pick up when we got there we picked it up and went to our room. If you want the bell service will deliver it to your room.

I tried to order a week in advance in Sept. and they were completely booked. I ordered yesterday for 12/1.

Another :thumbsup2 for Gardengrocer! We used them in September and were thrilled with the service. The money saved on bottled water and soda was HUGE! The convenience of delivery to WDW resorts was so easy as is their website. Place your order as far in advance as possible so you can secure your delivery time/day. As previous posters said, you can always add additional items later on.

But how do they box up or bag the groceries? Are they all neatly packed in a box? or does the stuff come in regular plastic grocery bags like you would get at Publix? :confused3

I just placed my first GardenGrocer order for Dec. 10th! After I placed it, I emailed to make sure they'd deliver if we hadn't arrived at the resort yet, and I got a personal response within 2 minutes. :thumbsup2 They said no problem, and that my order would be left with bell services and the perishables stored in their fridge (POR). He also said it's good to order as far out as possible, as their delivery times fill up (I think on the site it already lists that last week all delivery spaces were full).

I am happy so far with their customer service! :cool1:

We recently returned from BCV & had ordered with GardenGrocer. I didn't ask for the order to arrive early. When we checked in the order hadn't arrived, but we headed out to the parks. When we returned I checked at the Front Desk, they called Bell Services & said they'd bring it up. When we got into the room Bell Services had already left a message saying they were keeping our things cold for us & they'd bring it when we returned.
So, not perfectly smooth but overall a great service & Bell Services at BCV was great!
Have Fun!
