Garden Grocer order went well!

Our DS/DDiL used their service on May 17th, and everything went smoothly with the order and the service. They were not at BCV when the order was delivered, but that wasn't a problem at all. Bell Services and GG made the first trip that DS/DDiL began completely without our help go very smoothly! (This was also the day that the family got the 5 free passes that they used at Epcot!)

We love Garden Grocer..... Have used them for many trips and have always had great service and great food.

We used them for the first time last Nov.
Went smoothly. They arrived well before our alloted time, but the items were stored until we got there and then delivered to our room.
We are using them for the second time this coming trip. Set for delivery on Sat....this time it is a big order, so we'll see how that goes.

Glad to hear reports such as these. We are going to use them in July. We arrive to BCV on July 23rd. Does anyone know when I should place our order??? Thanks so much.

They placed their order when we visited on Mother's Day weekend, so 2 weeks ahead of time worked for them.

Good to hear...I am trying to decide between them and We Go Shop for our trip in August...we will want some beer & liquor too so I am not sure which service is easier to use for that.

No liquor/beer was ordered, so I can't help you there.

HOWEVER...I'm sporting a new trip ticker hightlighting our next 3 night DCL cruise. We had been on 2 DCL cruises before, and enjoyed them, but the MAGIC when you see your DGC interact with the waitstaff, other CM's and characters is priceless. We had planned to do a Members Cruise if they offered one in '10, but decided that something would be "missing" without our DGC aboard. On Saturday morning, I broached the subject with DH and the family and by lunch, we were booked! DSis and her DF is coming along again as well!

I placed an order with Garden Grocer over the weekend for our June 3rd trip. I called them to ask about the beer/wine request because I paid for the order using my paypal account. They told me they would call 3-5 days prior to our delivery date to comfirm the order and take credit card info for the alcohol order. She made it seem very simple. Hope it works!

I am sending DD and her friends to OKW in a few weeks. I have never used Garden Grocer but think I may for them. They will be on the dining plan and really only need cases of water, milk, eggs and some breakfast stuff along with munchies.

Do they have to be in the room when the order arrives? Do I pay for it when I place the order?

The family was in Epcot when GG delivered. They were in the room when Bell services delivered the order to the room.

We have used FF several times and just recently placed our order for our June trip. You do not need to be there when they deliver. You do pay on the site at the time of the order being placed.

We have been very happy with Garden Grocer.

We used GG for the first time on our trip 5/10 thru 5/15 to BCV. We also were not "home" when they delivered, but, they called us as they were dropping our groceries with Bell Services (GG customer service had called me earlier in the day and said they are not allowed to deliver to rooms at BC or BCV, but, must deliver to Bell Services) just to let us know it was there and to call Bell Services for delivery to the room when we got back there. Everything was nice and cold when it was delivered by Bell Services several hours later. However, we did not place an alcohol order with them, since DH is on a Sam Adams White Ale kick these days (it's a seasonal and we didn't know if it would still be available in FL or if he would need to pick something else). So, we stopped at WinnDixie ourselves just for a 12 pack and a bottle of wine......much easier to carry than an entire grocery order!!! Anyway......needless to say we will definitely be using GG again in the future......
