Garden grocer or bring snacks from home?

We are planning on visiting Disney World next fall and plan on staying at POR. It's going to be myself, my husband, my mom, and my son and daughter (at the time they will be 2.5 and 10-11 months old). We are going to fly down using Southwest, which two bags fly free. We can usually fit everything we need into a big suitcase (per person) and a smaller suitcase would be fine for the little ones.

My question is this: should I just get snacks/water/diapers delivered to our room or should I take advantage of the extra bag we get and just pack a bigger suitcase with snacks (I may still get water and maybe diapers delivered but probably nothing else). That way at the end of the trip, we have room for souvenirs. I'm not really familiar with grocery delivery so I'm not sure how it works, but I'm sure it would be cheaper to bring food than it would be to get it delivered. Any input? Thanks!

I like the idea of bringing items and using the bag for souvenirs. We have packed snacks/paper goods/box of cereal and granola bars and then used the bag for souvenirs at the end, as well. On our last trip we also had Garden Grocer deliver milk, water, sparkling water, fresh fruit, cream cheese/bagels, and alcohol. We traveled with another party so just placed one order and split the $14 delivery fee for GG. There are other ways to have items delivered--I have seen people post about using Amazon quite a bit on this board.

We usually fly on Delta and get one free bag per person (AMEX credit card). With the 4 of us we can normally get by on three checked bags. We use the 4th bag for snacks. The food bag is ALWAYS opened and inspected, but that doesn't bother us. We use Garden Grocer if we need to order more than snacks. I wouldn't travel with snacks if I had to pay the luggage fee for them.

Thanks for the responses! If I had to pay for the bags I wouldn't do a snack bag but since it's free, I may as well do it. I don't care if my bag is searched or not as long as nothing is opened. If I use Garden Grocer (or Amazon Prime Now), I would get things that are way too bulky, like bottled water, maybe cheese and fruit, diapers, and the like. I would probably be packing non perishable goods like pretzels, goldfish, etc.

We loved using Prime Now - we got ice cream and fun things delivered we wouldn’t normally be able to have! Or cereal and milk for an easy cheap breakfast. But like you suggested we bring dry/easy to pack items like pringles, apple sauce pouches, granola bars etc

We just went in April with our one year old and older child. I ordered from Garden Grocer, all the baby items i would need (even diapers, swim diapers, wipes, etc). We also flew Southwest. I found it just easier to have the case of water, snacks, fruit pouches for baby, puffs, baby necessities, cereal bars, granola bars, juice, etc, delivered. My hubby was very impressed, he felt it was one of the best things *I* did to make our trip smoother. GG was easy and great to deal with. I would rather not have all our food go through the X-ray baggage etc also.
