Tell me about Garden Grill. I've read from another post that it is AYCTE. Is this true?
Which characters are usually there?

Garden Grill is a nice AYCTE dining experience. It is a slow moving restauant in The Land, and I believe generally had Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto. I cannot remember if Goofy is there as well, but others who have been recently can update that.

The characters are Farmer Mickey, Pluto and Chip and Dale. We ate there last month for breakfast and it was our favorite meal of our whole trip. The character interaction was great, too.

Garden Grill is one of our favorites and on our "must eat there" for most trips.

It is one of our favorite meals at Disney. We generally do a dinner or lunch there every visit. It's in a circle shaped restaurant that (as pp mentioned) rotates super slowly while you are dining at it.

The food is delicious and the servers bring it all out to your table family style. You can order as many additional servings as you would like.

To me it always seems less chaotic than any other character dining because the booths we are always seated at seem much more secluded to the rest of the diners. It's not like you are smack dab in the middle of the restaurant with everyone right next to you. It just has a different more relaxed feel. Seat your kids (if applicable) on the outside of the booth so it's easier for pics and autographs.

I went for breakfast in May and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was fresh and our server was great. That was when Soarin was still closed, so it was not very busy.

Garden Grill is one of our must-dos for every trip! The interaction is great and the food is really good. This is one of my Husband's favorites because he likes rotating (very slowly) above Living with the Land.

I highly recommend Garden Grill. My wife and I had a PPO breakfast there last year. We saw all four characters AND we were the first people to ride Soarin' that day. The food is great and the experience is really neat. Plus, where else do you get to see Farmer Mickey??

We have a late lunch reservation and this is my exact concern!

You should be fine with 6 they are big booths. I believe they also have tables as this is really a 2 level dining area. The top level is kind of hidden but it's there.
This was a pleasant surprise for lunch last year and is on the radar for breakfast soon. Highly recommended. The food was really good and the character interaction was fantastic. Plan an hour or so to be there. We had Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale several times during our meal. Pluto sat down with us and pretended to eat our food. Loved it.

It's Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. We loved the breakfast there a few weeks ago.

Had lunch there in June and it was by far the most relaxed character meal of the trip! Food was excellent, but there was so much. We didn't ask for refills of anything except for the Mac and cheese for the kids. The characters came by multiple times and interacted well with the kids. Dale braided my daughter's hair and she still talks about how silly it was, lol.
