Garden Grill--walk up?

Has anyone walked up to THe Garden Grill and gotten in right when they open without an ADR? I had a great ADR for Dec. (woke up very early to get it)---then my husband was notified on a mandatory training that he has to go to and we had to move our trip to Nov. and of course too late to get an ADR for Garden Grill. I have been checking often with no luck. We loved this place when we went in 2007---sad that we can't do it this trip!

I am not sure about walk-ups, but when are you going in November? We might be cancel our ADR, I would be happy to coordinate if it works out.

I don't know about November but when we tried to do it last September they said absolutely not. I kept checking online and we were able to get a reservation a few nights later. We ended up waiting almost 30 minutes to be seated when we had a reservation. I have no idea if that's normal for that restaurant though.

I had to move our Dec trip up to Oct about 2 weeks ago and lost all of my wonderful adr's.
I have slowly been able to get most of them back...w/ the exception of Tusker House bfast.

Wow, we are also going to be at WDW Nov 12-20 also, how cool!

Unfortunately, we do not have ressies for the 19th. Our reservations are for Monday Nov 15 at 5:45 for 4ppl. That is too bad we couldn't make this work, I would have loved to help you out!

Have a fabulous trip. And, keep checking the on-ine reservations, you never know what might pop up. I just got Le Cellier two days ago.

I have Chef Mickey's on the 15th and don't want to give it up! I hope you have a great trip....we are excited! One month from today and we are headed to the Happiest Place On Earth!!!!

I will also be there from the 12th to the 20th. I got a reservation for Sunday the 14th.

I don't know but we'll be there the 12-22nd too! I have tried over and over to get ressies in the past and could never get one. We also would try and do walk-in and it was always a no go. This time I was fortunate enough to get us a ressie for 4:40 on 11/17 for the 7 of us. It is my in-laws 1st trip to WDW and this is our only sit-down meal so I hope the food's good!

Oh well---It will have to wait until the next trip. I am just so excited --we will have fun no matter where we eat!!!
