Garden Grill Views during Maintaince??

We booked a dinner reservation at the Garden Grill in the Land and I just read that Living with the land will be closed that day for maintaince. Does anyone know if there will still be anything to view while we are dining? I just love the gardens and would be disappointed if there was nothing to see.

I don't think you see the garden at Garden Grill. You see the house, buffalo, and the pavilion. Of course, I am one of those rare people that don't do well at that restaurant. I had a splitting headache by the time we left. I think you will be fine with your ressie.

Sorry the previous poster got a headache

I wouldn't change your ressies.....This is one of our favorite places to eat. My family of 3 all have issues with motion sickness and we have never gotten sick. And we eat here multiple times per trip.

When you check in ask to be seated in the lower section. It's just a better expereince. Enjoy.

I think it's different for everyone. We've done it a few times and didn't suffer from any headaches at all. You see the desert and a few other scenes as you rotate. I'm sure there are pictures of the scenes somewhere. I've never been there during maintenance, though.

This is one of our favorite character meals. We will be there in a few weeks to celebrate our daughter's first birthday.

Living with the Land was closed for maintenance during our last trip, but it didn't have any impact on Garden Grill.

I didn't notice the "spinning" of the restaurant. The kids loved this meal and the characters. DD was very entertained by the changing scenery.

we love this restaurant too......the first time we ate there I didn't even realize we were spinning til the scene in front of us changed.......

Thanks everyone! We leave this afternoon and are staying one night at POP then over to Coronado. Our ADR for Garden Grill is for Friday and I am getting excited.
