I have an ADR for breakfast at the Garden Grill for 8:35 on a morning that Epcot opens at 8:00 for EMH. I really want to sit in the booth seats on the lower level. Do you think it would be a good idea to go there right at 8:00 when they let us in and ask at the check in area? Do you think that would help?

I could ride Soarin' and then have time to get to my ADR, but getting the booth seating is more important than riding a ride.

How many people are in your party? They didn't seat many people in the booths when we went at 8am.

The booths normally accommodate 4-5, perhaps even more right? I’d be willing to guess that they would be occupied by larger groups but it couldn’t hurt to ask.

There are also booths for 2. I went in September with a friend and we sat at a booth that was just for 2 people on the lower level

DH and I have eaten there twice and both times were seated at a full size booth on the lower level. I think if you asked, they would gladly seat you there.

We had an 8:15 reservation and we showed up right at 8 and were seated right away at a booth, we were a group of five. But that was a non-EMH day, so it wasn't too chaotic. I would choose to ride Soarin first if I were you. The hoard of people who passed after my DH and older DS got on the first flight was really something to behold while I was waiting to child swap.
