Garden Grill seating

We will be in Epcot on 5/20 and want to eat at GG, but there was nothing available for a party of 7. Instead I booked a party of 5 and then a party of 2 for 10 minutes later. Will we be able to sit together? I heard that they have booths, so are they allowed to fit 7 in a booth or is it maxed at 5?

We also have a Tutto reservation to fall back on, but I want to cancel one or the other.

1) Sometimes they can fit you together in a lower booth.
2) But, there must be ressies for all the booths.
3) So, they ressie-for-2 is on top at a table.
4) But, you never know, they still might be able to do it.

If they did not have availability for 7 then I would not count on being able to combine your seating when you get there. Disney actually often mentions that larger parties may not sit together even when on one reservation.

The bottom is all booths, but the top has tables and is where they would seat a larger party.

I think I will keep my reservation and see what they can do. Maybe they will be willing to seat us all in the booth, if that is where they plan to seat our party of 5. If they plan to seat both parties at tables, then maybe they will seat us close. Otherwise, we should probably be able to get a walk-up some else.
