Garden Grill questions

We have a dinner ADR for Garden Grill booked for our next trip and I have a few questions. I'm looking forward to a character meal with our daughter where we won't be constantly timing buffet trips and character stops. For some reason I worry and worry over that and then we usually miss the characters somehow anyway and they have to come back for a hurried visit.

We are four adults (of average to slightly above average...widths?) and one small four year old. Will we all fit into a booth? These seem to be the preferred seats and I would definitely request one but not if we're going to be like a bunch or sardines!

I just recently noticed that they started including sausage instead of fish on the platter. I don't love this idea. This is not my thing at all but some of the people in my party occasionally eat sausage. Has anybody tried it and thought it was okay?

We can be somewhat picky eaters, I'm embarrassed to say. All the pictures I've seen of the beef look like it's pretty pink (and YES I know it's soo much better. I've been told. But we like our meat to be brown I guess.) Would they have a problem if we asked for a little more done beef? Is that possible?

Ugh I drive my self crazy with all my nitpicky concerns before every Disney trip we take! I guess when I have so long to plan and worry over something I start hashing out the smallest details with myself! Anyway, thanks in advance for any answers!

You can definitely ask for the beef to be more done. They are pretty accommodating. The sausage was really good, as was the rest of the meal. I wouldn't really stress over this meal, there is plenty of food to choose from if you don't like the taste of something. I loved the mac & cheese with the little goldfish on top. I can't answer your question about the booth as I sat @ a table. I would just go and have a good time. Enjoy.

We have sat as a family of five with room to spare at the booth. The dishes were crowded on the table but we were not crowded ourselves. Just make sure to put the kid on the end so they can jump up easily for all the characters. It's a great meal. Sorry to hear about the fish though.

You will not be crowded and the fact that you are a party of 5 you will definitely be in a booth, we were told you can't put a person at the end of a table. Anyways, I think the food is wonderful, the vegetarian entree is amazing but you have to ask for it. It was a stuffed pabalno pepper and I hope they have it again next time we go. Also make sure to save room for dessert.

We asked for our meat to be well done- after it arrived practically mooing. No problem at all and it was delicious. Nobody ate the sausage.

The sausage? Bleh. The good thing is you can just order more turkey and beef. You should be fine with the seating. Possibly snug but doable. We love GG. Characters come around often and are super fun.
