Garden Grill PPO reservation

I have made an 8.35 reservation at Garden Grill on a day Epcot opens at 9 and hoping to ride Soarin' straight after. If I turn up at the restaurant at 8.15, will the let me in?

You can enter Epcot at 8:00 and will be seated when you reach GG.

We love this PPO. We get to Epcot by 7:30 the latest and head right to Garden Grill. PPO ADR's are handled differently than any others. The restaurant seats in the order of checkin so they can get the meals up and running. You can treat a PPO ADR as if it was an 8AM and get a head start. Have fun!

You have made the same plan (almost) that we do every vacation. I get the earliest PPO available and we ride Soarin and Living With the Land on Stand By. Usually with very little to no wait allowing me to save a Fast Pass for Test Track. After TT we usually do Mission Space on Stand By with little wait as well.

8:00a. They seat guests to fill the area where the characters begin their rotation through the restaurant.

8am but get to the park by 7:30 so you can get through security. There should be a line for PPO ADRs and as long as yours is before 9am then they’ll start letting those people in by 7:45 so you can walk to GG and be seated right at 8

This was not my experience last summer. We were a party of 5, not first to check in, but no more than 5th, with ADR of 8:15. Many more groups than the few who arrived before us were seated first. However, we were not seated after 815. The food arrived quickly, I paid as soon as possible, we met all of the characters - did photos & autographs, and we were on Soarin' before 9am. A bit of a frantic pace, but sure beats regular rope drop.

We were two parties and asked to be seated together. We waited less than 5 minute. I m sorry you were rushed.

It's always a great experience. I just want people to be aware they don't always let you in before 8am.

Hope this isn't a dumb question, but you can still enter early for a PPO ADR from the International Gateway, right?

And this makes me feel a ton better; we were planning on rope dropping Soarin, but will have to do a child swap, so being a little ahead of the RD crowds should help.

Yes, you won’t have any problems at that entrance.

We stayed at Yacht Club this past weekend and had an 8:55am for Garden Grill. (9am open) We got to the International Gateway at 7:40am with already a couple groups there all with pre park ressies. A castmember was there to scan my magic band to verify reservation. We were let in not long after. I use a walker and by the time we made it to Garden Grill it was 8am.

There was a castmember at the entrance to The Land for check in, but we (along with many others) missed her and checked in right at the restaurant. We barely sat down after check in when we were called to eat! We weren't rushed, but my family was down to Soarin a few minutes before the opening crowd arrived.
