Garden Grill Dinner

I currently have a reservation at GG for dinner. I'm not expecting the most amazing meal, I'm mainly going for atmosphere. However, after reading some reviews, I'm a little worried that the meal with be inedible. Anyone with some opinions?

The pot roast was edible. I think the old steak was better and I was bummed to hear they had corn on the cob only to discontinue it. Its one of my favorite character meals though because you get served instead of paying insane amount of prices for buffet food. And I can tell you this, its way more edible than Chef Mickeys.

We went in May 2017. The rolls, salad, and potato salad was all delicious. The entrees were okay; my husband enjoyed it, but it's not really my thing. The character interaction was the best that we had at any character meet and they spent lots of time with my 19 month old (especially Chip). I say try it!

The main meats have changed a little since we went, but I would still recommend it. The food was all very good. The salad and rolls were exceptional. The rolls were big fluffy ones (Like O'Charleys instead of the little hard ones most 1 credit TS have). I was practically full from salad and bread when they brought the main courses :-)

I think everything has changed over the years, but we have always loved Garden Grill.....its our go to for CP dinner packages :)

Garden Grill is our favorite character dinner and has become our arrival day dinner tradition. In 2014 we almost didn't go because of the negative reviews and we cancelled our ADR and ended up booking it again, and boy were we glad we did because we loved it. I stopped judging restaurants off of others bad experiences and we judge for ourselves from now on. My only complaint is that they took my favorite item off of the menu - the filet of beef. It was so delicious! They replaced it with pot roast and we haven't been there since the change, but we are having dinner there on Saturday, so I hope we enjoy it. We love the atmosphere and the character interactions are the best we've experienced, as they typically come around 2-3 times!
