Garden Grill Dessert recently

Anyone been recently and can tell me what dessert they have? I love most their desserts, except for the pastry thing. If it is the pastry thing (Which my fiance loves, doesn't care for the others) I may hint him into ordering my a birthday cake.

About a month ago, it was sort of a blueberry muffin in a pan with whipped cream on top. I think they called it a fruit buckle or something like that. It was very good. You can also ask for the kid's dessert which was worms in dirt. They should have cakes at the podium if you want one. If it is your birthday, they may also give you a cupcake, but GG was the only restaurant that did not give us birthday cupcakes on our trip.

Thanks. I'm going to call the hotline and get a cake. I don't like blueberry and their cupcakes aren't good. (I've gotten one on each of my previous birthday's there) Three years ago they gave me a podium cake and it was good, but want to find out if there are other options.

Anyone can order the 6inch cake at the podium it's $21 and is vanilla with I think a choclate option.

There is an 8inch cake that has to be ordered 48 hours in advance by calling 407-827-2253 it comes custimized with any character you'd like "printed" on top. It's $32 This is also vanilla/vanilla or chocolate/choclate

There is also a larger mickey head cake that's $42 also has to be ordered 48 hours in advanced.

We're not getting a cake. The cake I really want has to be ordered at a resort and I'd only want it on my birthday. When we're eating at Garden Grill. I guess I'll try the blueberry thing or I'll get a cupcake (neither sounds good). I miss the apple cake. It's my favorite. I actually ate 2 on my own last year. I don't think I'll be able to go back this fall when it's normally the seasonal. Or maybe I'll fill myself on the entree and sides so I won't miss not getting a dessert.

It was the blueberry buckle last week. Looked good but didn't taste that great.
