Has anyone been to GG for lunch lately? I called today to do my ADR. According to the menu on All Ears, it looks like lunch and dinner at GG are both served family style. The CM I spoke to today told me GG lunch was not family style, but order off the menu :confused3 Can anyone verify this one way or the other? We ate there a couple trips back and I thought it was for lunch, and was family style. Thanks for any help :hippie:

We ate there for lunch in Feb and it was family style I guessed they must have changed it

I would like to know the answer to this question as well...I made a reservation for lunch and thought it was family style. I decided on doing lunch because it is $7 less than dinner.

Thanks for the responses. I think I will call today and talk to another CM to see what they have to say. If that doesn't help, I suppose I will call GG directly and ask.

We ate there just yesterday for lunch. It is family style. The only "menu" was a beer and wine list - lol. One plate with everything on it that we served ourselves from. If we wanted more of something, then just ask the server for more of that item.

Our characters were Mickey, PLuto, Chip and Dale. All of them came around several times, as we had 11:30 ADRs and it was EMPTY then. By the time we left, about 12:15, it was packed.

VERY yummy. Loved the bisquits, fresh veggies, potatoes, and dessert. DD wanted to go back for dinner - LOL.

I just got off the phone with dining. This CM said GG was still family style at lunch. She apologized for the other CM giving wrong info (no biggy :) ) and we switched my ADR to lunch. Problem solved :)

Are there still Characters there for lunch? If so which ones? Thank-you!

When we were there in June '06, it was Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale (maybe Minnie, too?). They're dressed in "farming" clothes and stuff. They've always been GREAT with my kids...we've been several times and love it. Also, when we were there last, it was family style. Hopefully that's how it still works...the food is usually really good, and there's plenty of it!

Thanks! I love first hand, up to date, info :) I made my ADR for 11:30. The last time we ate there a couple years ago I remember it taking a long while to get in, even with ADR's. I think the earlier times help with that.

By the way, what time is lunch until? I am looking to do a late lunch/early dinner and just wanted to confirm that I got a reservation for lunch.
