I went for the first time in weeks today... with my 2-year-old DS. He seemed to have a great time until he fell asleep. LOL! I got him some McDonald's as a treat (We hardly ever get fast food.) and now he's happily playing with his new truck. We found him Gus the Talking Garbage Truck
http://www.amazon.com/Hasbro-90196-Tonka-Chuck-Friends/dp/B000GY0FXW/ref=pd_sxp_f_r. For those of you familiar with the current Tonka toys, Gus is a friend of Chuck's.

It was $3, which is more than I usually spend for toys, but DS is alllllllll about the trucks at this age, and this was by far the best truck we came across today.
I also got him a new (still shrink wrapped) Memory game for $1. (Hey, it's even better than on Black Friday!)
For me, I got two things. The first was a brand new cast iron dutch oven (about 4 quarts, I think) for $5! It's not my usual Lodge brand ("Classic" seems to be the brand.), but for $5, I couldn't go wrong.
I'm also excited that I found a Tupperware egg scoop for 50 cents. It's just like this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Tupperware-NEW-...456?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item48364d23f8 For those unfamiliar, this works great at getting Easter eggs out of the cup after they're done sitting in the dye. I have a few already, and I was psyched to find one more. It's an item not sold through the catalog, so yard sales are usually the only places I find them except for the occasional Tupperware party where they have a bunch of gadgets they give out for free.
Other than that, I bought NOTHING. However, I scored a huge Little Tikes toy box for free at the recycling shed at the dump and also got a bunch of fake food. Sweet!
