Garage Sale - baby and kids books?

I donated ours to our elementary school. At one of their activities they sold books as a fundraiser. Paperbacks for $1.00 and $2.00 for hardcovers. They didn't make much about $200.00 but it was all profit no overhead. We also did a similar thing for relay for life event.

I buy books all the time for $1 each at garage sales, like new condition. Some I might not pay a $1 for but I"ll ask if they'll take 2/$1, just depends.

I would just leave the boxes on the ground, grouped together by type. I'll always look through them on the ground!

I forgot we used to do that in elementary school. We did a book swap, you brought in X number of books and then they organized all the donations and when they ran it you could choose x number of new to you books to keep. I used to love it when they did that.

when we moved cross country we donated what came out to be a thousand dollar tax deuction worth of books to the local libary. Mostly paper backs. a ton of baby sitters club box car children stuff like that but a lot of other stuff to. So thats anouter option.

If you have sets, such as Magic Tree House, etc., you might do better on ebay. I have sold Magic Tree house sets of 6 books for $8, and several kids books on dinosuars in a set for $5
